Our History & Legacy
Darul Uloom Sheeri (Regd.) The foundation of Darul Uloom was laid on 12 Jumada al-Thani 1409 Hijri, corresponding to 20 February 1989, by the renowned saintly personality Hazrat Amir Sahib (popularly known as Pir Waiz Khan Sahib), who was a great spiritual and religious leader of the region.
The institution was established with the aim of promoting religious and educational awareness in the area. Since its inception, Darul Uloom has played a significant role in spreading knowledge and moral values among the people.
At present, more than six hundred and sixteen (616) students are receiving education from this institution, and many graduates of Darul Uloom are serving in various religious, educational, and social sectors.
Darul Uloom's famous scholar and principal, Hazrat Maulana Hafiz Sheikh Abdul Qayyum Sahib (may Allah protect him), has played a vital role in the institution's growth and administration.
Today, this institution is preparing hundreds of Huffaz-e-Quran, scholars, imams, and preachers who are serving across the country and abroad in schools, mosques, madrasas, Islamic universities, colleges, and universities.
The institution also operates a school named "Broad Vision School", where modern education is imparted to children. Darul Uloom is among the institutions where both religious and contemporary education systems have been established together.
